How CrossCheck works
One source is a guess. Agreement is a measurement.
Add one parameter to a normal RPC call. The gateway does the rest, and you get back a clean JSON-RPC response.
Fan out
The call goes to every healthy Artifact node in the pool, plus an independent public reference for that chain. Drained and unhealthy nodes are already excluded.
Canonicalise and hash
Each response is normalised, so honest nodes running different software are not counted as disagreeing, then hashed and grouped.
Return the majority
You get the answer the majority produced. Every disagreement is recorded against the source that produced it.
